Meet the Staff at Healing Hands Chiropractic
Kim, Chiropractic Assistant
Kim was born and raised in Fargo, ND. She lived a short time in Colorado before marrying and moving to Rapid City, SD in 1985. She loves the nature and beauty of the Black Hills area and was blessed to raise her three sons – Nicholas, Michael & Lucas here and continues to call it home.
After working 22 years managing Dental practices, Kim made a career move into the Chiropractic field. She had spent the last 12 years working for Schwietert Clinic learning the ins and outs of the chiropractic world. Always wanting to learn and offer more to the practice and patients, she obtained her Chiropractic Assistant License in 2012. She is excited for the next step of her career journey working with Dr Rachel at Healing Hands Chiropractic.
Kim has a welcoming smile, a friendly voice, an infectious laugh and the most natural outgoing personality. She loves interacting with patients, young and old, many of whom she comes to consider friends and family. She takes pride in getting to know them and offering them that personalized care that we all look for, especially when not feeling our best. And crazily she loves the challenge of the insurance world and will always be the patients’ biggest advocate.
When she is not working, you will find her enjoying the outdoors, spending time with family and friends and her favorite thing, spending time with her two beautiful granddaughters. She loves having the sun, sand between her toes and a drink in her hand when time and schedule allows.
FUN FACT: Her first job when moving to Rapid City was at The Reptile Gardens.
